It’s Tamona
Tamona is a work at home mom with a husband known only as The Honey and four children, lovingly referred to as, The Tax Deductions. Being married for 14 years, Tamona is certifiably insane. She has taken on the ADHD of others and loves to spread her chaotic mind around the world.
Tamona previously posted her work at home tips and fun with frugality tips on various work at home sites, eHow, etc. prior to starting her own blog. Now she gives tips for working at home, staying frugal, and her adventures fighting skinny heffas along the way. Like many people, Tamona struggles with weight issues and she doesn’t mind sharing the bitterness it brings.
Tamona writes freelance articles for various undisclosed sites. This gives her more time with Tax Deductions 1 (13), 2 (12), 3(9), and perhaps the sneakiest of them all, 4 (7). Tamona is an unschooling homeschooling mom. She believes in educating the individual so each child learns differently. She also believes that when a child looks at school as something fun to do, it insures enjoyment in education. People who don’t try and learn something new every day are people who were burned out on education in their youth. We should learn something new every day and enjoy doing it. This is the reason Tamona unschools.
When she isn’t forcing The Honey to feed her peeled grapes, Tamona is off to one more sports event, field trip, or self inspired hair brained adventure. The Tax Deductions are into nearly every sport imaginable so where they go, she goes. Sometimes they are watching, but normally they are playing. Tamona consults with The Tax Deductions on every review she writes. Since she is pretty laid back, there is not much she won’t try. Expect the truth when it comes to Tamona because she is highly allergic to lies and false advertising. She despises Bloggers who sing the praises of companies that do not deserve the accolades. If you don’t want the truth, don’t bother reading her reviews.
Tamona takes from her busy schedule to help make sure that people do not pay to work at home. She searches for work at home job leads and posts them for all to see. If you see a job posted from last week, assume that this position has been filled. Tamona does start the job search, its your job to complete it. Contact the employers directly and apply for the jobs you feel you are qualified to perform. Tamona loves finding work but if a potential employer makes you feel sketchy, let her know. Tamona is well known for calling out scams and sites that promote scams. Never pay to work, is a warning that is repeated frequently on this site. If you look at the disclaimer at the bottom of the front page, you will see this warning posted there as well.
You will find that Tamona does not have a lot of affiliate links. When she posts an affiliate link, there is always a fair warning. You will find two Google ads on the left side of the page. Other than that, there are no ads or sponsors listed on her site. If she is compensated for any posts on this site, it is announced with the words DISCLAIMER in bold print. Tamona believes in full disclosure and expects nothing less.
Tamona is a Purex Insider. This gives her the opportunity to try out products before they hit stores and give her honest opinion. Purex is very bold for taking this chance and Tamona is very happy they did. If you have a product that you want Tamona to test or an event for her to attend, email her at Tamona@Tamonastips.com. Tamona is a loud and jovial Blogger. If you expect her to be quiet and reserved, please do not invite her to your event. Although she does know how to act in public, she is quite vocal and believes in giving feedback when requested.
Tamona IS a plus sized Blogger. She does not hide this fact and many more pictures can be seen of her all over the internet. With that being said, keep in mind that Tamona will not be interested in climbing mountains or running marathons. She finds this to be a lovely use of energy but if you are not chasing her, don’t expect her to run. Tamona enjoys blogging events and testing products and services. Please feel free to entice her as if your first name was chocolate and last name cake.

Extremely valuable content material. I’ve discovered your web site by Aol and I’m really happy about the data you share in your post. Btw your blogs design is slightly scratched around the Kmelon web browser. Could be genuinely wonderful if you can resolve that. Anyway maintain in the good work!
I am gonna have to google Kmelon because you flew over my head at record speed lol! Thank you so much for the gracious compliment thought!
You should consider starting an email list. It would take your site to its potential.
I use to have an email list Stella but it was so horrible for me. No one wanted to sign up. You have a good point and I will definitely think of adding it back since I have a lot of changes lined up for the site.
i wish you had an email list too.
Hi Tamona, I enjoyed meeting you today at the Aveda event! I love your honesty and sense of humor! Good luck with new logo design.
You are a very smart person!
Hi. For the longest time, I have been searching for a valid work at home company. I googled one company and discovered your website. I am so glad I did. I am excited about trying some of the companies that you have listed. You will be hearing from me soon.
Awesome!!! Vicki, if you are ever in need of any help, let me know. I post jobs daily in the daily job leads section and if you ever think a company is suspicious. I will gladly help you research them.
Beneficial site, though I would love to see a a bit more media!
I had a wonderful time meeting you last night at the 3 Musketeers event. Your site is great. I love your candor about being a plus sized woman(being one myself.) You and your daughter are both beautiful.
Sondra we share the same family last name. My mother’s family are Blacks (in more way than one). Maybe we are sisters! LOL! I had so much fun with you and your sister last night. You guys were the highlight of the party. I have never been to an event with no gift bag and when I was leaving, she had the nerve to say the rest of the minis were for her bloggers. I had so much fun with you guys. We are gonna have to go to lunch and you guys have a Matt’s in your area now so there is my excuse to get full on Mexican food and liquor!
Hey Lady! Absolutely AWESOME to get to talk to you today at the Best Buy event. I would have had a much better time at the 3 Musketeers event had I found you there. Nonetheless, I’m here now and having an absolute BLAST reading your blog!
I think we should have each at least gotten a Geek Squad member to take home with us from the Best Buy event. But then, I don’t know that I can keep enough Doritos and Mountain Dew in my house to keep a Geek really happy and if they aren’t happy, they whine. (Reason #537 that the Wasband is an EX!)
Ok, enough of my rambling commentary… I’m gonna go read more!
LMBO!!! Dude could not live in my house eating my damn Doritos lol!!! I could share the Dew but he would have to give major tech support lol! I would have loved a gently used computer or even a tablet for that drive. That was no short trip!
I think they could have AT LEAST hooked us up with a flash drive or something. Hell, a laser pointer (aka cat toy) with the Best Buy logo on it or a mouse or SOMETHING. Sheesh. Hook me up with some SWAG, people.
OMG YES! I would have loved a laser pointer. Do you know how many people would have red dots on their head. I love that reaction lol!!! See I am simple, I don’t need much. I am thinking Texas folks don’t need to plan anything else lol
