Thanks for posting but I’ll like to know what its Brookshires Q policy and do they have a limit of how many q they double or triple. Sorry to ask but I’ll be shopping at this store and I’m not familiar of how they work with coupons. Thanks

Tamona October 6, 2011 at 10:43 am

In different areas, the policy varies. Some areas still double coupons up to 50 cents and triple up $0.39 cents. In those areas, Brookshires will do this on 3 like coupons. There are other areas that do not double or triple coupons unless it was expressed in the ad. Where will you be shopping? I may be able to assist you better.

Marie October 7, 2011 at 6:16 am

I’ll be shopping in Mckinney TX Thanks a lot for your help.

Tamona October 7, 2011 at 8:12 am

You are in luck! They double and triple coupons but they only double the first coupon if you are purchasing like items. For example, if you use 3 coupons for $0.35 off bottles of soft soap. They will double the first coupon but the other 2 will be at face value. I even called the store to make sure I was telling you correctly. You never can be too safe with coupon policies.

Thanks again, I will definetly start shopping here but can I be able to do other transaction to use my q so they double?

Tamona October 9, 2011 at 11:42 am

Absolutely! They are pretty good about letting you do more than one transaction. Just make sure you have everything separated before you start checking out you let the cashier know. They are really nice about that kind of thing.

I appreciate the time u took to let me know all this information. Thanks again :)

Anytime Marie! I can’t wait to see how your shopping trip comes out!

I have a similar issue. This will be my first time shopping at Brookshires and because there are no decent places to shop here, I will be driving 45 miles to Bowie texas to do my shopping. I am not certain how this works as I always have to get most of my items at Wal-Mart to really save anything. I am going to be putting together a pretty good size shopping list and am curious of their policy. Also in conjunction with ecoupons and how that works. Can you help me with this?

Tami January 1, 2013 at 10:12 pm

Also on the Kingsford you are showing there is a $1.50 off coupon but the only one I can find is Redemable only at Target. Does that mean that Brookshires will honor the Target coupon?

Tamona January 2, 2013 at 7:41 am

Hey there Tami! Before you drive to Bowie, this is not the newest ad matchup this ad ended yesterday. I will be posting a new one today. Also, the Brookshires that you will be visiting does not double or triple coupons so they take coupons at face value only. I typically write my matchups for the stores that double because not all Brookshires follow that policy. I called the one in Bowie so I could verify and I was told they do not double and triple. In Forney, Texas, they double and triple every day. In areas that do not double regularly, you have to watch for special double days listed on the store ad. When those day appear, I always tell everyone. I will keep you posted on that. As far as ecoupons goes, Brookshires has a coupon program that allows you to get special deals on your cards. Those deals are customer specific and Brookshires will email you and tell you when you have something new each week. As far as printable coupons like the ones you find here on Tamona’s Tips, Brookshire’s gladly takes printable coupons. They take them at face value and I’ve found that they prefer for you to have them printed in color. This makes it easier on the cashier who may not be as familiar coupons as we are. The Kingsford coupon may not be available any longer but it was available on Smartsource.com. Brookshires will not honor any coupons that are not Brookshire’s coupons or coupons from the manufacturer intended for general use. It sounds like you may be better off price matching your sale items at Walmart if it is closer. It will save money on gas for sure. I am not the biggest Walmart fan but I would hate for you to waste gas or time. Brookshires does have good unadvertised deals so I definitely understand making the trip. If you are ever looking for a great store that doubles and triples, you should check out Albertsons. Their policy is pretty simple and they are worth the trip. If you are available, on February 23rd I will host a FREE couponing class at the Mesquite Library on Grubb. There is an Albertsons right down the street from the library and it might be a good time to stockup while you are in town. If you need anything, please just let me know.

If it is the Brookshire’s in New Boston, TX, they do triple up to .39 and double up to .50 everyday

Tamona January 5, 2013 at 4:27 pm

Marla,

That is great to know! I called the one in Bowie because that’s where I thought she was going. I will add them to my list though. Thank you so much!

Stumbled across an awesome deal tonight at my BS in Hillsboro. The Keebler cookies that are are BOGO-1cent also are Buy 1 Get 1 FC Splashers Free. Ours are priced at $3.69. Also had 2 x $1 IP off any Keebler Cookie (not sure when/where printed it) Anyway, $3.70-(2 x $1IP) = $1.70 for 2 Keebler Chips Ahoy + 2 FC Splashers. Good deal even without the IPs though. YEA!

Tamona January 11, 2013 at 12:47 pm

OMG Wendy that deal rocks! I would love to post it. What are FC Splashers? I’ve been looking all day and night!
