Ingredients and Instructions:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 6 tblspn b. powder
- 1 tsp salt
Mix well with a fork. Add 8 tblspns of butter and stir with a fork until it looks like crumbs. Add 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Add 2 cups of milk until dough is dense and sticky. Scoop dough into muffin pan. Bake at 400 degrees till done.
Poke each biscuit, several times with a toothpick. Brush biscuits with a garlic butter sauce.
Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 1 stick of butter
- minced garlic or 2 tblspn of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- splash of white wine (I used Moscato)
Put all the ingredients in the pot as you melt the butter. Brush until all butter is done. This recipe makes 1 1/2 dozen muffin sized biscuits.
